Little things make big differences
Many work steps are necessary before a kitchen is perfectly installed. Hundreds of screw connections are fastened, pull-outs and fronts have to be fitted and large household appliances connected.
With the MONTEC® range, Naber supplies all the relevant standard components – from the set for the sink connection to the kitchen connection box, which considerably simplifies the electrical installation of multiple large appliances.
Clever when space is limited
Modern, well-equipped kitchens make everyday life increasingly convenient. This requires an increasing number of appliances, including several water consumers such as dishwashers and boiling water faucets. The connections often come together in the base unit, typically under the sink. Water, electrics and special applications have to share the limited space available. This also leaves little room for manoeuvre for the waste collector.
The Naber Water Box
Naber wouldn’t be Naber if there weren’t some extremely clever in-house developments among the installation aids. The Water Box is a prime example.
What at first glance appears to be an unassuming part is effectively the multi-socket for the drinking water supply. Up to four consumers with a fixed water connection can be conveniently and safely integrated into the Water Box and connected to the on-site cold water corner valve. This saves a great deal of space and installation time!
The connection to the corner valve is provided by a stainless-steel flexible hose. The installation position can be chosen flexibly, allowing a sufficient gradient to the discharge point of the siphon. The solid brass block of the safety group on the appliance side guarantees a good hold for connecting the faucet, dishwasher, washing machine, hot water appliance or coffee machine cleanly and securely to the drinking water connection.
Special solutions for special layouts
Naber’s extensive experience in equipping kitchen cabinets is also demonstrated by Flex-Frame®, the mounting frame for installing water connections in freestanding cooking islands. With this layout solution, the classic wall-mounted corner valve is missing. The wastewater pipe also comes out of the ground and has to be fastened securely.
The Flex-Frame® is available in two lengths for all standard cabinet widths and provides a stable mounting location for all connections. As an option, a Schuko moisture-proof connection box can also be attached to the Flex-Frame, for example to supply electricity to a boiler.
MONTEC® Energy Box
The ever-increasing number of electrical devices and systems has also changed the requirements for modern power distribution technology. The MONTEC® programme stands for innovative ideas. For problem-free e-connectivity with the hob connector, the MONTEC® Energy Box can be used as a power splitter to quickly install further built-in appliances without having to lay additional sockets. Secure mechanical locking of the two outgoing plug connections means that the hob/induction field can be connected along with a plug-in oven/dishwasher without complicated installation in the furniture body.
Top Safe fitting
The mounting of wall cabinets in the kitchen and bathroom needs to be secure enough to fulfil the requirements of DIN E1153. Secure mounting is the responsibility of the fitter. This is where Top Safe comes in. The fittings are extremely easy to mount and compatible with most of the cabinet suspension systems available on the market. With Top Safe, transverse electrical cables or water pipes can be easily bridged.
