Space for further growth
Naber invests foresightedly in logistics.
The plans for the construction of a second high-bay warehouse on the company premises, which have been enlarged through the acquisition of a vacant property from 20,000 to 30,000 square metres, are completed. Through the new warehouse complex, the entire storage area of previously 7,000 sqm will be more than doubled to 15,000 sqm. Linked to this, the office space is to be expanded from the current 2,500 sqm to 3,000 sqm, which also goes hand in hand with the enlargement of the product development and the laboratory.
Completion is scheduled for the end of 2016 / beginning of 2017. A steadily growing kitchen accessory and interior range as well as progressive internationalisation require efficient storage and delivery logistics which are adapted to the expansion and do not reach their limits in the foreseeable future. Therefore, the capacity expansion not only serves the addition of new products and assortments - it is also intended to secure the usual reliable and even faster processing of orders and operations in the Pick-by-Voice system.
The company no longer needs to provide evidence that spatial psychology effectively supports the feel-good factor in the design of workplaces, because it has successfully practiced this for many years and will continue to implement it in the planned construction and furnishing measures.
Looking to the future, the Managing Director Lasse Naber refers to the positive trend of recent years: “when it comes to warehouse logistics, we are currently stretched to our capacity limits. However, growth needs space. That is why, as a leading company in the sector, we are investing in the future in order to create space for many inspiring product ideas, innovations and developments of our own in the coming years.”
