THERMOBOX started the new year with the world’s most important sustainability award, the American "Green Good Design Award 2017" in the category "Products". This is awarded each year by the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design in cooperation with the European Centre for Architecture, Art, Design and Urban Studies for particularly environmentally friendly projects.
Extractors which draw the cooking vapours off directly at the worktop are in vogue: the downdraft technology provides headroom above the cooker and flexibility in kitchen design. However, important points have to be observed during planning and installation, so that moisture and mould aren’t given a chance. Naber, the specialist for air technology in the kitchen lets you know how.
The kitchen accessories specialist Naber points to a still largely unknown topic: the problems that downdraft extractors can cause in combination with energy-efficient and hygienic exhaust air systems. The background is the conversion to energy-saving EC motors and the use of purely recirculating operation in some models. Several manufacturers have already reacted.
Just before the end of the year, the decision of the design and lifestyle blogger, journalist, author and stylist Holly Becker provided for a pleasant surprise. She has chosen Concept Kitchen to showcase her creative energy on the inspiration ground "immspired – the blogger’s trend show" in Cologne.
After careful market analysis, the innovator and lateral thinker Naber sees further potential for the mobile module programme Concept Kitchen beyond kitchen/home/office in the bistro and shop furnishing sector. In the urban area, creative themed businesses are increasingly developing in the trendy neighbourhoods on small and affordable rental spaces. Cafés, shops, bistros or combined forms, which invite you to relax and shop, enjoy and get together, are become more and more popular. Mobility, authenticity, clarity, design freedom, reduction and concentration on the essentials also dominate when it comes to the furnishing style of creative start-ups.
With the new catalogue set 17/18, the ideas generator Naber continues to show its flair for sales promoting print communication as a fixed service element in multi-channel marketing. Internal customer surveys show that the acceptance of the printed "Thick Green Book" and the interiors catalogue TABLON® are as high as ever and indispensable in combination with the use of the rapid web dialogue.
Brexit? No problem for innovation-minded companies and trendsetters like Naber. The annual hotspot for professionals of the design scene is still a must for the Nordhorn-based team. After four days (21.-24.09.2016) of professional communication on an internationally established stage with architects, interior designers, kitchen and interior specialists, the Naber trade fair team reported many new contacts, strong impressions and a host of new experiences.
Clear message for trend scouts: track down products which correspond to the individual requirements of contemporary kitchen equipment and also make a value-added contribution. The Naber trade fair crew assisted the systematic search for tailor-made functionality, intelligent design concepts and uncomplicated solutions at the top-styled trade fair stand area. Here, the response to the increasing complexity of issues and demands was as professional as ever.
For over fifteen years, in cooperation with universities and in close collaboration with industrial providers of household appliances, the Nordhorn-based kitchen accessories specialist Naber has developed innovative accessories for the area of exhaust air technology. The aim is both to create a healthy indoor climate in which the occupants feel comfortable, and to permanently protect the structure of the property against damp.
Time to make amazing discoveries again
If you don’t come, you could miss a lot. Because the kitchen accessories and interior specialist Naber is sticking to its principles as a developer and is already rousing interest in a special range in the preview. To go on reinventing themselves – that’s the basis of the success of the Nordhorn team. Here’s a first glimpse for interested "early birds".
area30 – Stand G 21
Once again, the expert jury of the German Design Council has ratified the developers of the Naber-THERMOBOX an innovative engineering achievement – this time in the product category Building Technologies. The Nordhorners’ visionary product development in the context architecture and design was decisive for the jury’s predicate "Iconic Awards 2016 – Winner".
Change and adaptability are the companions of the new mobility. This results in the opportunity provided by a wider variety of options together with the chance to discover and experience new things, also when it comes to home and furnishing. Whereas in the 70s, an average of 2.74 people still lived in a household, 40 years later it’s now just under two. In 40 percent of the households, there is only one person. A trend which is set to continue due to the increasing individualisation. The consequence: living areas merge.
Naber, the kitchen and kitchen accessories specialist, has completely revised its website and made both its looks and structure even more customer-friendly. The motto was: the better the information is structured, the more comprehensible it will be.
All roads lead to Atlanta, one of the most important American tour & talk towns for architecture, design and creative culture. After last year’s successful US debut at the 'MA! Design is Human' in Atlanta, this year the mobile 'Concept Kitchen' presented itself to an illustrious audience on twelve days (from 31.05. – 12.06.) at two locations.
With the "German Brand Award", the German Design Council has launched a new competition which rewards pioneering brands, brand concepts and their creators. On 16 June 2016, the finalists of the first German Brand Awards 2016 were presented within the framework of a festive gala in Berlin.
Naber invests foresightedly in logistics.
The plans for the construction of a second high-bay warehouse on the company premises, which have been enlarged through the acquisition of a vacant property from 20,000 to 30,000 square metres, are completed. Through the new warehouse complex, the entire storage area of previously 7,000 sqm will be more than doubled to 15,000 sqm.
Added value benefits as decisive plus
Naber shows imaginative changes in its comprehensive approach and thus joins the ranks of the trendsetters at the küchenwohntrends who know how to inspire the kitchen trade with a wide range of newcomers. In their presentation, the Naber fair crew clearly puts the focus on the benefited-oriented added value.
