Kitchen ventilation technology holds a special position among the wide variety of kitchen accessories as its planning is often dependent on the type of building the kitchen is in. The response to the study on extractors in open-plan kitchen-living rooms which the Passive House Institute has compiled and published together with two other institutes and Naber, is correspondingly great. The results of the study are discussed at passive house conferences as well as in specialist journals of the building trade such as "Bauphysik" and "Gebäude-Energieberater".
Two juries have awarded the NABER-CONTURA® built-in sink Corno Turno, and certified that it meets the special criteria of universal design. The innovative stainless-steel sink with integrated swivelling faucet is thus considered a future-proof solution for the largest possible target group and for sustainable operation.

As the kitchen accessories specialist demonstrated at the "Let's be smart" special exhibition at the international furnishings fair in Cologne from 13 to 19 January, these expectations are met by kitchen ventilation technology from Naber. The in-house developments presented combine maximum energy efficiency with outstanding culinary enjoyment.

Several times a year, the kitchen accessories specialist Naber supplements its product catalogues with newcomer brochures. In order to limit the parallel application of the annual catalogues and newcomer directories, our customer service sends out new accessory catalogues at the end of the year. These contain the full range of extensions.
At the area30 fair, Naber, the specialist for kitchen accessories, presented, among other things, the new passive house-certified wall conduct COMPAIR® BIXO for extractor hoods with exhaust air ducting. Thanks to its novel closure mechanism, the component certified by the Passive House Institute meets the highest energy efficiency requirements.

They represent practical and aesthetically convincing solutions for current customer needs and are very likely to strengthen or even spark off one or the other kitchen accessory trend.

Living areas are now less clearly separated from each other than they were just a few years ago, and premium kitchen accessories are spurring this trend. Alongside the classic kitchen themes of built-in sinks and ventilation technology, at the interzum 2019 in Cologne Naber put the focus on lighting concepts that connect different areas, as well as on the award-winning utensils box Cox Work®. With this, the broadly-based kitchen accessories specialist proves that even within the waste collection range it is possible to develop a product that also provides outstanding service outside of the kitchen.
Ground-breaking innovations in kitchen ventilation technology provide for a healthy indoor climate in numerous buildings in Europe and beyond: the modular recirculating air filter system COMPAIR® GREENflow and the particularly stable air duct system COMPAIR STEEL flow® were intensively examined and discussed by the trade visitors to this year’s küchenwohntrends.
Three design and innovation awards have been joined by a fourth: the portable utensils box Cox Work® was honoured at the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2019 and received the Red Dot. It is part of the Naber Cox® waste collection programme, but also convinces outside of the kitchen as a very useful storage container. Once again, a panel of experts has issued Cox Work® an internationally recognised certificate for outstanding design quality, as well as for its innovation potential and long service life.
Above all because of the high quality standards, the product feature "Made in Germany" generates a great deal of trust among Chinese consumers and companies, as Naber found out in discussions with trade fair visitors to the AWE Shanghai. A large-scale study has laid important foundations for the selection, dimensioning and positioning of extractor systems. The most important types and operating modes were compared.
