On 26 September 2020 it's "Kitchen Day" again. This marketing highlight has been running for 20 years, with an average of around 2000 retailers taking part every year. The organising association "AMK" (Arbeitsgemeinschaft Die Moderne Küche e.V.) rightly emphasises the importance of this media event for the entire kitchen sector.
Act confidently, committedly support the specialist trade and convincingly present fresh ideas – Naber has numerous marketing activities to present new product highlights in the area of kitchen accessories as well as supplementary interior features. The growing interest of end customers in new products and furnishing solutions is dynamically and responsibly addressed. Over the coming months, Naber will do its utmost to successfully shape the important autumn business together with its trading partners. These are the main steps:
With a generously extended fleet of vehicles, Naber stays consistently close to its customers: a total of seven Multivans now display the latest kitchen accessories on the spot. Thanks to the clever equipment of the vehicles, the latest product highlights can be convincingly presented even at the distance currently required. "Due to corona, many discussions with our customers at trade fairs and exhibitions are no longer taking place", explains General Sales Manager Bernhard Schonhoff. "That’s why we’re pulling out all the stops and expanding the mobile accessory demonstrations that have been successful for years. With our presentation vehicles and the experience of our field staff, we remain at our customers’ side in the current situation, and are able to go on demonstrating the latest product innovations personally on site."
When less space is available for plumbing and electrical installation, distribution and mounting systems need to be more cleverly designed. Installations require quick and easy installation systems which can be flexibly adapted to user requirements. The currently extended Naber MONTEC® installation material range is designed to meet the requirements of installation professionals and complies with the applicable safety regulations.
In times when people cook at home more often, the awareness for convenient kitchen accessories also increases. New ideas for the specialist trade are collected in the current newcomer brochure and file, which the full-range supplier Naber is dispatching within a short time and offering for download. Expressive niche rear walls in a textured or aluminium look, well-conceived ranges of faucets, a new variety of colours and models for chairs and stools and a great deal more enhance the kitchen as a living space and cooking area.
Naber has received the German Innovation Award 2020 from the German Design Council for its wall conduct technology COMPAIR® BIXO/BIXO Balance®. The combined exhaust and supply air wall conduct convinced the jury and now bears the distinction "Winner" in the category "Excellence in Business to Business – Building & Elements".
Kitchen ventilation technology holds a special position among the wide variety of kitchen accessories as its planning is often dependent on the type of building the kitchen is in. The response to the study on extractors in open-plan kitchen-living rooms which the Passive House Institute has compiled and published together with two other institutes and Naber, is correspondingly great. The results of the study are discussed at passive house conferences as well as in specialist journals of the building trade such as "Bauphysik" and "Gebäude-Energieberater".
Two juries have awarded the NABER-CONTURA® built-in sink Corno Turno, and certified that it meets the special criteria of universal design. The innovative stainless-steel sink with integrated swivelling faucet is thus considered a future-proof solution for the largest possible target group and for sustainable operation.
Smart technology for the kitchen as a place to indulge
According to a recent study by Koelnmesse, the organiser of the imm cologne, many consumers expect smart home technologies to provide more security and the chance to save energy. As the kitchen accessories specialist demonstrated at the "Let's be smart" special exhibition at the international furnishings fair in Cologne from 13 to 19 January, these expectations are met by kitchen ventilation technology from Naber. The in-house developments presented combine maximum energy efficiency with outstanding culinary enjoyment.
Under the auspices of the Association of the German Furniture Industry, from 13 to 19 January 2020, Koelnmesse will be hosting the international furnishing fair imm cologne for trade visitors and end consumers. The integrated special exhibition "Let's be smart" will be shown in the Smart Village and enables trade fair visitors to check which new technologies increase living comfort and promote a sustainable lifestyle. Here, Naber will primarily be presenting innovations from the field of kitchen ventilation technology.
Several times a year, the kitchen accessories specialist Naber supplements its product catalogues with newcomer brochures. In order to limit the parallel application of the annual catalogues and newcomer directories, our customer service sends out new accessory catalogues at the end of the year. These contain the full range of extensions.
At the area30 fair, Naber, the specialist for kitchen accessories, presented, among other things, the new passive house-certified wall conduct COMPAIR® BIXO for extractor hoods with exhaust air ducting. Thanks to its novel closure mechanism, the component certified by the Passive House Institute meets the highest energy efficiency requirements.
Innovations in the built-in sink segment as well as in ventilation and lighting technology received special attention and were intensively discussed at the Naber stand at the area30. They represent practical and aesthetically convincing solutions for current customer needs and are very likely to strengthen or even spark off one or the other kitchen accessory trend.
The newcomers, with which the kitchen accessories specialist Naber has again extended its range, provide new stylish options for kitchen and bathroom planning. The specially developed or selected products enhance spatial concepts and their novel functions greatly simplify daily routines in the kitchen and dining area. Naber's inventive spirit is also reflected in more complex innovations which enrich contemporary kitchen architecture worlds and generate meaningful trends.
Air, light, water: accessory innovations for the kitchen living space
The new products which Naber will be showing at the area30 from 14 to 19 September in Löhne improve and embellish life and work in the kitchen and home. With innovations in ventilation and lighting technology, in assembly materials and in the sink and faucets segment, the kitchen accessories specialist reacts imaginatively to changes in consumer behaviour and sets the trend.
On 24 May we welcomed a high-ranking delegation of Chinese entrepreneurs and executives as guests in the context of a "Kitchen-Tour" organised by the AMK subsidiary Greater China. The 23 participants also included Mao Zhongqun, CEO of the market leader Fotile. Among other things, the top-level kitchen appliance manufacturer produces and distributes high-quality European design extractor hoods worldwide.
With the "Winner" label for COMPAIR® GREENflow, the kitchen accessories specialist Naber is among the recipients of the German Innovation Award 2019. The modular recirculating air filter system was recognised by the German Design Council as an innovation performance of international ranking in the category "Excellence in Business to Consumer – Kitchen".
Kitchen accessories for feel-good concepts that connect different living areas
Living areas are now less clearly separated from each other than they were just a few years ago, and premium kitchen accessories are spurring this trend. Alongside the classic kitchen themes of built-in sinks and ventilation technology, at the interzum 2019 in Cologne Naber put the focus on lighting concepts that connect different areas, as well as on the award-winning utensils box Cox Work®. With this, the broadly-based kitchen accessories specialist proves that even within the waste collection range it is possible to develop a product that also provides outstanding service outside of the kitchen.
Ground-breaking innovations in kitchen ventilation technology provide for a healthy indoor climate in numerous buildings in Europe and beyond: the modular recirculating air filter system COMPAIR® GREENflow and the particularly stable air duct system COMPAIR STEEL flow® were intensively examined and discussed by the trade visitors to this year’s küchenwohntrends.
Three design and innovation awards have been joined by a fourth: the portable utensils box Cox Work® was honoured at the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2019 and received the Red Dot. It is part of the Naber Cox® waste collection programme, but also convinces outside of the kitchen as a very useful storage container. Once again, a panel of experts has issued Cox Work® an internationally recognised certificate for outstanding design quality, as well as for its innovation potential and long service life.
