Naber ventilation technology acknowledged as trend-setting
With the "Winner" label for COMPAIR® GREENflow, the kitchen accessories specialist Naber is among the recipients of the German Innovation Award 2019. The modular recirculating air filter system was recognised by the German Design Council as an innovation performance of international ranking in the category "Excellence in Business to Consumer – Kitchen".
For kitchen users, the award provides orientation and more certainty in purchase decisions. Because as the German Design Council stresses, the competition is intended to highlight products that improve the lives of consumers and shape the future.
Kitchen ventilation systems with a recirculating air solution filter out the odours and pollutants generated when cooking and frying, but leave the moisture in the room. Therefore, in order to maintain a healthy indoor climate an especially effective and suitably dimensioned filter technology and air ducting are required.
With COMPAIR® GREENflow in combination with downdraft and hob ventilators, the damp air does not just gather in the base cabinet, but is channelled through flow-optimised air ducts into the filter boxes located in the cabinet base. For wall-mounted extractor hoods, the filter boxes are placed in a suspended ceiling – here too, in the individually required quantity.
The COMPAIR® GREENflow filter boxes each contain a large-area activated carbon filter in "OMEGA" form which can be regenerated several times. This results in significantly higher cleaning performance compared with conventional products, while the follow-up costs remain reasonable. The optimised fins of the outlet grilles on the boxes ensure that the movement of the clean air flowing out is hardly perceptible.
This is the second major international design award for the recirculating air filter system developed by Naber. COMPAIR® GREENflow was already chosen as the "Winner" of the ICONIC AWARDS 2019: Innovative Interior.
