The kitchen accessories newcomers from seven product groups can now be discovered and incorporated into stylishly functional kitchen architecture: ceramic built-in sinks with two levels in the bowl, for example, or the COMPAIR® Tower for an exhaust air system with its core drilling hole below the turf. Fascinating ideas also unfold in the areas of lighting technology, faucets and shelf systems. The new catalogue pages are now already available for download.
The exhaust air wall conduct COMPAIR® BIXO, which is certified as a passive house component, is the revolutionary answer to current structural requirements. The new, hard-wearing TwisterTec closure system makes highly efficient and convenient exhaust air and supply air solutions possible in current efficiency and passive houses with controlled ventilation of the living-space.
The filter box COMPAIR® GREENflow puts an end to moisture-laden cooking vapours in the base area caused by downdraft extractors and avoids dirt, mould and damage to the cabinet body. The OMEGA activated carbon filters provide considerably more power and the quiet and barely perceptible outflow via the shapely slatted grid makes for additional wellbeing. The filter change indicator Control monitors the filter quality of up to four GREENflow boxes individually based on cooking habits.
For a study by the F.A.Z.-Institut, the patents of 33,000 companies in Germany were examined to find out whether the innovations distinguish themselves from other inventions and whether they noticeably influence their field of technology and knowledge. This was confirmed with regard to our 176 patents, registered designs and utility models. As a result, Naber belongs to the 3,500 companies that were identified as innovation leaders. The award is an incentive for our Research & Development to keep the kitchen accessory markets in Germany and other countries on the move and to continue to increase comfort in everyday kitchen life through our own product developments.
With the "Winner" label for COMPAIR® GREENflow, the kitchen accessories specialist Naber is among the recipients of the German Innovation Award 2019. Three design and innovation awards have been joined by a fourth: the portable utensils box Cox Work® was honoured at the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2019 and received the Red Dot. Once again, a panel of experts has issued Cox Work® an internationally recognised certificate for outstanding design quality, as well as for its innovation potential and long service life.
The current Newcomer Brochure from Naber promises enlightening moments - and not just with impressive LUMICA® pendant luminaires. Also, fittings, the assembly attraction "Energie Box", base cabinet equipment as well as built-in, surface-mounted and corner sockets also surprise in form, colour and functionality. These products will noticeably increase the amenities in everyday kitchen life. Our high-quality creators of ideas for the kitchen specialist retail trade are now available for download.
Naber has produced a new study together with scientific institutes. It evaluates exhaust air and recirculating air extractor hoods according to technical, energy-related and economic aspects. The results help to plan kitchen ventilation systems, also in energy-efficient houses, in such a way that a sufficiently large air flow volume is captured by the extractor hood during cooking, that odours are reduced as much as possible and moisture damage avoided. The results are published in the "Guide to extractor systems for kitchens". We make the document available to anyone interested, be it kitchen planners, architects, tradesmen or private individuals, as a free download.
Within the context of the ICONIC AWARDS 2019: Innovative Interior, prestigious jurors had more than 500 submissions to assess. Among them was the recirculating air filter system COMPAIR® GREENflow, specially designed by the Naber development team for downdraft fans. The modular filter solution can be integrated into any closed down-draft system to avoid moisture damage and mould formation in the base area of base cabinets.

The demands on functionality and efficiency when it comes to application-specific downdraft recirculating air and filtering have grown. The focus is on the module solutions which dock into the ventilator, which equalise the vapour flow in a controlled manner, clean it using effective filter box technology in the base area and allow the filtered air to flow out via aerodynamically shaped outlet grilles so that it is barely perceptible. With COMPAIR® GREENflow we have also taken on a pioneering role in recirculating air technology.
Anyone concerned with kitchen ventilation technology, either professionally or privately, will find valuable background information and many practical tips on our new service portal www.compair-flow.com.
